Sitting here tonight and Jeff came across my mind. I remember so vividly, sitting next to Jeff as his youngest sat on his lap at a dance recital for Kate. He had a pretzel and would break pieces off to give to Julia to eat and would smirk and smile at me as she reached her little hand behind her head looking for another piece. I watched as he carefully held a new torn piece for her in anticipation of her holding her little hand out again wanting more. Everytime he'd grin and smile...he thought it was the cutest thing. The way he adored his children and lit up for everything they did was just the sweetest. As parent now to my own, I think back to moments like this and cant help but think about the love Jeff shared and how his life was cut short. Its a reminder to me that tomorrow isnt guaranteed and to make sure I leave this world with special memories with my own family like Jeff did. I only remember him as being the best Dad ever, so caring and humble. I hope that Im known for the same thing because memories are really all you leave behind. Jeff has made an impact on my life forever and Im forever grateful knowing him and he will never be forgotten.

There are no words to express how much we miss Jeff. Never in a million years could we ever have imagined life without him. He was so smart that he aced any task he encountered. We used to tease him about being better than MacGyver at the resourceful ways he would solve problems. Never one to sit still for long, he was constantly learning and doing. From taking excellent care of his family and home to receiving advanced IT certifications he earned the respect and love of so many people. As a loyal friend full of humor and wit, he will be missed by many. As a Husband and Father he is irreplaceable. As a Brother he leaves a huge void that cannot be filled. As a Son, his Father and I will miss him forever and couldn’t have loved and appreciated him more for the good man he grew up to be. It was such a pleasure to see him accomplish so much and watch him have so much fun with his family and friends. Disney and Ocean City will never be the same.
It is a true testament to the wonderful impact he had when so many people came from everywhere to visit him during his last days. He was able to see how much he was loved as he fought a courageous battle. His devoted and loving wife Regina stood strong as he went through months of intense treatment. His brother Shawn traveled to be by his side and was his strength as his was failing. So many others did all they could to assist the family and care for his little girls. Such an outpouring of love touched our hearts and will always be remembered.
God is the giver of life and Jeff was a gift. We know our separation from him is only temporary and thank the Lord for the time we had with him. We also thank the Lord that he is out of pain and suffering but ask our Heavenly Father to give us all the strength to continue our journey without him. It will be hard and we cannot do it alone.

So tragic and difficult to put into words all that I would like to say, but the one small crumb of comfort is the girls have a fantastic Mom who will always be reminding them how great their Dad was.

You were one of the first IT managers that I supported when I started at Chase. It was an honor and priviledge to work with you, in both IT and HR. You are a colleague and a friend and I will greatly miss you! Heaven has themselves a great man!

“There is nothing in this world, I venture to say, that would so effectively help one to survive even the worst conditions as the knowledge that there is meaning in one's life.” Jeff was a man who lived a lide of meaning. You will be missed.

I Have A Place in Heaven
“I have a place in heaven
Please don't sing sad songs for me,
Forget your grief and fears,
For I am in a perfect place
Away from pain and tears.
It's far away from hunger
And hurt and want and pride,
I have a place in Heaven
With the Master at my side.
My life on earth was very good,
As earthly life can go,
But Paradise is so much more
Than anyone can know.
My heart is filled with happiness
And sweet rejoicing, too.
To walk with God is perfect peace,
A joy forever new.”

Iam so glad jeffs daughter Julia ended up in my class 2 years ago, otherwise I wouldhave never met him. I feel so privileged to have known such a wonderful man. Jeff struck me with his profound knowledge of random facts and his talents for home improving. He was so incredibly smart. What I loved most about Jeff was his sincere love for his family. Knowing his family and seeing them interact with one another...it was apparent that It was a loving household filled with fun and laughter. Julia and Kate adored jeff..i have seen it with my own eyes. Jeff was also crazy about his daughters. He would often send me pictures of his daughters when they went to Disney and tell me how cute they were..such a proud dad. Regina really lucked out with this guy. Anyone would be lucky to have half the husband and father that jeff was. He may be gone in spirit but his legacy will last forever. Regina is a strong woman and his girls will have tons of stories to share with their own children about jeff later on. Jeff will live in my heart forever and I will never forget him.
