George H. Fithian, Jr. age 76 of Pennsville passed away at home on May 13, 2015 after a brave battle with lung cancer. He is survived by his wife of 57 years Janice Canaday Fithian, Son, George Fithian, III and a sister, Barbara Butcher and her husband Lee. Predeceased by a son Scott Fithian and parents George Fithian, Sr. and Glendoris Rader Fithian. He retired from DuPont Chambers Works, Deepwater with 34 years service. Following his retirement he went to work for COCO Tech in Pureland for a few years. He was an avid sportsman who loved hunting, fishing and muskrat trapping. He spent most of his retirement fishing. He also coached Pennsville Midget Football for 14 years with a championship in 1980. He was a great father and husband. Funeral services will be private at the request of the family.
