Grace M. Olive went home to be with the Lord on June 19, 2015. Grace was a loving mother and a very proud grandmother, great grandmother and great-great grandmother.
Grace was born on August 20, 1920 in Michigan City, Indiana. She met her husband Joseph in Pennsville where they raised their family. Grace was an active member at St. George's Epsicopal Church where she served on the alter guide, sang in the choir, and helped with various activities at the church.
Grace was predeceased by her husband Joseph in 1987, along with brothers Elmer (June), Earl, Edward, Wilbur, Dan Brown and sisters Dorothea and Margret Brown.
She is survived by her daughter Katherine M Harris (Robert), son Joseph Olive (Aloma), grandchildren Bonnie Davis (Stacy), Robert Harris, Bridgett Olive, Joseph Olive, and Gina Olive, 14 great grand children, and 9 great- great grandchildren.
Grace's mission in life was to love and cherish her family. Her true legacy will live on in the many memories and uplifting spirit she empowered within her family.
Funeral services will be held 11:00 AM on Monday June 22, at the St. Georges Episcopal Church, Pennsville. Friends may call from 9:30 to 10:30 AM at the Laughrey Funeral Home, Pennsville prior to the services. Burial will be at the Church Cemetery.
