M.J. Not many people have had as much of a impact on my life, in such a short time as you!
From the moment we first met, you made me feel welcome into what has become my family. And I could never thank you enough. The many Holliday dinners, Bar-B-Que's and just stop overs were more than just a simple visit, when it was you.
You always had a friendly & light personality that I looked forward to seeing! And it pains me to say goodbye to you today. You were so nice to me when my own mom passed, and made a very tuff time a little easier. And I'm gonna try hard to help your family the same way. I'll always always remember our first family dinner, when you made me laugh so hard, and you have never stopped making my life brighter. I'll miss you so much
Mary Jane. Love always. O.J.

Mary Jane's passing is a great loss for all of us. From the times in the early 1970s when she lit up the Art Room at the Penn Mutual Life Insurance Co. in Philadelphia with that beautiful smile and engaging personality ... to her thoughtfulness remembering a nephew we (Berleys) lost a few years ago, she made each one of us feel special. She was one of God's great gifts to all of us.
We are feeling so sadly for each of you in her family and pray that the memories and God's comfort will help you through the days and weeks ahead.

I am so sorry to hear of Mary Jane's passing. She was a warm wonderful person. I worked with Mary Jane at A. C. Moore in Moorestown, NJ. We spent many lunches laughing and sharing stores about our families. My thoughts and prayers are with her family that she loved dearly.

I pray the Lord will bring comfort and peace to Don, Lisa, Erica and all the grandchildren and family.
Remembering more than 30 years of friendship and about 25 years of monthly 1st Friday dinners - now 1st Sunday lunch - gatherings - so many good times and bad times shared. Lots of laughs and lessons in crafts! I still have my snowman. I'm grateful for MJ's friendship and will miss her alot.

Treasure all of your MJ creations, cards, scrapbooks, quilts, paintings, jewelry...there was so much love, creativity and MJ in everything she made. But most of all we can all treasure the memories of MJ's laughing, sharing a favorite recipe for cooking corn, giving us the benefit of her knowledge and experience in all things crafty, telling a really great story that brought us to laughter, setting a great example of a Nanny that everyone wants to emulate. I treasure every moment that I spent scrapping with MJ...she taught so much about crafting but her example taught even more on how to live. with deepest sympathy, Bonnie Sheer, Scrapbooking Buddy,

What a bright light MJ was to those of us in Delaware who have spent years scrapbooking with her. Her positive energy, support, kindness and enthusiasm were such a gift to our monthly crops. Our scrapbook nights won't be the same without her. As I mourn her death, I do take comfort in all of the wonderful memories we created together. I pray that her family can do the same.

She was such a positive, happy, warm hearted person! When I see her face in my mind, she is always smiling. I can still hear her boisterous, infectious laugh!

MJ was a wonderful person and part of our Scrapbooking group in Delaware. She had such an infectious positive attitude. You can do this...here let me show you how easy it is. It didn't matter if it was card making or Scrapbooking. She was so helpful and unbelievably funny. We would have a glass of wine and laugh ourselves silly. Knowing her was a gift I will always treasure.

Another scrapbooking friend.... I will miss MJ tremendously. She had such energy and creativity. We were inspired by her each time we were together. I hope her family finds strength knowing how much MJ was loved and respected by all who encountered her. This poem by Ralph Waldo Emerson speaks to who MJ was:
To laugh often and much;
To win the respect of intelligent people
and the affection of children;
To earn the appreciation of honest critics
and endure the betrayal of false friends;
To appreciate beauty;
To find the best in others;
To leave the world a bit better, whether by
a healthy child, a garden patch
or a redeemed social condition;
To know even one life has breathed
easier because you have lived;
This is to have succeeded.

What can I say but that I am brokenhearted about losing such a dear good friend. I feel like I am in a dream waiting to be told that the loss of Maryjane is not true. I will miss you deeply. Our monthly get togethers will not be the same but you will be with us in spirit.
MaryJane was one of the most positive people I have met in my life time. She was always upbeat, and willing to listen and help where ever possible. She was probably the most talented person I have known. From her marketing days to her creative AC Moore days to just her making jewelry, quilts and even painting like no one I know.
I met MaryJane when my daughter was about 7 years old and who is now 42. My daughter has reminded me of all the good times we had when our kids were little. Trips to the shore, ballet, movies and may other fun activities. And always the laughter and the laugh I will never forget or the way she commanded the dance floor.
I will definitely miss you my friend but our wonderful memories will live in my heart forever.

Nanny,
I never imagined in my wildest dreams that I would be sitting here writing this. It breaks my heart to know you're not here with us anymore. You have hands down done more for me then anyone else I know. I love you to the moon and back. You were always a positive woman and I aspire to be like you. You taught me things I will never forget and I will always use. I am so grateful you were there for all of accomplishments in life and I know when I continue to go on and accomplish more you may not be here physically but you will always be in my heart. I love you nanny. I hope you're having fun up there.
