Edgar P. Willis, age 79 of Pennsville died Tuesday December 22, 2015 at the Memorial Hospital of Salem County. He was born in Pennsville and was the son of the late Walton H. Sr., and Thelma H. McLaren Willis. Edgar was a lifelong Pennsville resident.
Survived by a daughter Mary Willis Turan, brother, Walton H. Willis, Jr., sisters, Thelma Hemminger, Carrie Thomas (John), Ruth Ottinger (Thomas), and Sally Carfiello (Michael), grandchildren, Tammy Mosher, Susan Holtzman, Bobie Lewis (Antonio) and Gillian Stamets, great grandchildren, Andrew, Jesse, Kylie,Megan, Danielle, Courtney, Grace, and Gage, stepsons, Richard Stamets, Jr. (Dawn) and Donald Stamets (Phillip Lafayette).
Predeceased by a brother, Howard L. Willis and sister, Cora Lea Lively.
Funeral services will be held 11:00 AM on Monday Dec. 28, at the Laughrey Funeral Home, Pennsville where friends may call from 10:00 to 11:00 AM prior to the service. Burial will follow at the Eglington Cemetery, Clarksboro, NJ.
