Obituary of Wayne S. Fisher

Wayne S. Fisher, age 78 of Pennsville died Wednesday February 17, 2016 at his home surrounded by his loving Family. He was born in Bridgeton and was the son of the late Hilton and Doris Bowen Fisher. Wayne was a longtime Pennsville resident. He was employed as a chemical operator for the DuPont Chambers Works, Deepwater where he retired in 1992 following 33 Years. Longtime social member of the Pennsville VFW. He was also co-owner of Doran and Fisher Roofing in Pennsville. Survived by his children, Patty Creasy and her husband Ernie, Ralph Fisher, Beverly Plazio and her husband Mark, Bridget Williams and her husband Wayne, Wade "Spud" Fisher and his wife Donna, sister, Susan Fisher Dolbow, daughter in law, Sharon Fisher, 20 grandchildren, 28 great grandchildren, 1 great great grandson, nieces, Tara, Troy and, Dena Jones, and Shanda Clark. Predeceased by his son, Rodney W. Fisher, sister, Carol Fisher Rhodenbaugh, and Longtime companion, Blanche Hogate. Funeral services will be held 1:00 PM on Saturday Feb. 20 at the Laughrey Funeral Home, Pennsville where friend may call from 11:00 to 1:00 AM prior to the service.
