Obituary of Beverly R. Tackett

Beverly Ruth Tackett, age 79 of Carneys Point, Went to be with her Heavenly Father on Friday December 29 at the Golden Nursing Home, Mannington Twp. She was born July 4, 1938 in Lewistown, PA and was the daughter of the late Lloyd and Ruth Kuntz Appleby. Beverly was a lifelong resident of Salem County She was employed in quality control for the Anchor Hocking Glass Company, Salem where she retired following 35 years service. She was an avid cook and loved sewing, arts and crafts and crocheting. Survived by her three children, Craig Allen Tackett and his wife Arlene, William Edward Tackett and Darlene Ann Gannon and her husband Leroy, brother, Lloyd Appleby and his wife Joyce, 5 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren. Besides her parents she is predeceased by a sister Shirley Appleby. Funeral services will be held 11:00 AM on Thursday January 4, at the Laughrey Funeral Home, Pennsville where friends may call from 10:00 to 11:00 AM prior to the service. Burial will be at the Mattawanna Cemetery, McVeytown, PA.
