Hazel L. Chambers
Hazel L. Chambers, age 90 of Pennsville went home to be with her Lord on Wednesday December 27, 2017 at the Christiana Hospital, Newark, DE. She was born May 16, 1927 in Waynesville, NC to the late Roosevelt and Minnie Brown Ward. Hazel was a longtime Pennsville resident.
Hazel was a longtime member of the Pennsville Church of the Nazarene.
Survived by her children, Barbara Press, and her husband Jack of Pennsville, James Chambers and his wife, Louise of Carneys Point, Cathy Cardamone and her husband, Ken of Townsend, DE, Beverly Wood and her husband Pete of Pennsville, and Sharon Sammons and her husband, Greg of Pennsville, 8 grandchildren, 18 great grandchildren, and 4 great great grandchildren.
Predeceased by her husband Edward L. Chambers (2014), sister, Bessie Ward, brothers, Carl, Conley, and Claude Ward.
Funeral services will be held 11:00 AM on Tuesday January 2, 2018 at the Pennsville Church of the Nazarene 172 Churchtown Rd., Pennsville, NJ 08070 where friends may call from 10:00 to 11:00 AM prior to the service. Burial will follow at the Lawnside Cemetery, Woodstown, NJ.
