GRASP (Grief Recovery After Substance Passing) is a National support group providing sources of help, compassion and understanding for individuals and families who have had someone they love die as a result of substance use or addiction (drugs or alcohol). All people who have lost a loved one are welcome to attend and share. This National support group was founded in 1994, and the organization has grown to include most States in the USA and provinces in Canada. The groups are led by a “peer” -- someone who has experienced or is experiencing the same grief as the group members are. Pre-registration is required. If you know anyone who has suffered this kind of loss, please have them call Donna Belanger @ (856) 678-8659 or donnascottb@yahoo.com or see the national website www.grasphelp.org. We will meet for the first time on Thursday, May 31st at 6:30 p.m. and each month thereafter on the 4th Thursday at 6:30 p.m. The Location is the Lutheran Church of St. Ambrose, 443 S. Broadway, Pennsville, NJ 08070. Brochures are available.
