June G. Milligan, age 92 of Pennsville died on November 4, 2020 after a brief illness. She was born on June 16, 1928 to Jerome and Hannah Wildermuth. She was a lifelong resident of Pennsville. June was predeceased by her husband of 46 years, George L. Milligan. 7 sisters, Bertha, Francis, Helen, Edna, Sarah, Agnus, and Mae. 3 Brothers, Clint, James, and Alfred (Buddy) and her granddaughter, Danielle. She is survived by her sons Gary Milligan (Winnie) and Richard Milligan (Rhonda), a daughter, Susan Milligan, 4 grandchildren, Patrick, Lucas, Scott, and Kathryn, a sister, Mary Dilks and many nieces and nephews. June graduated from Salem High School and was a member of the Trinity United Methodist Church. She taught Sunday school and Bible school and was a den mother for the cub scouts. She worked as a teacher's aide for 18 years in the Pennsville and Mannington school systems. She was an avid reader, enjoyed her family, flower gardening, refinishing antiques, and vacationing in Stone Harbor and Cape May. She will be sadly missed but lovingly remembered by family and friends. We will always picture her with a smile on her face.
Funeral services will be held 11:00 AM on Monday November, 9th at the Trinity United Methodist Church, Pennsville where friends may call from 10:00 to 11:00 AM Prior to the service. Burial will follow at the First Baptist Cemetery, Salem, NJ.
