Please share a memory of Dorothy to include in a keepsake book for family and friends.
Dorothy Mae Gomeringer, age 95, longtime resident of Pennsville, passed away peacefully on Sunday December 27, 2020 at the Salem Medical Center. Dorothy was born on November 13, 1925 to Charles and Eva Sparks Stout. She was married to Warren Gomeringer for 73 years. Dorothy was the ultimate mother and homemaker. She enjoyed gardening, cooking, birdwatching, reading and painting but most of all she enjoyed her family. Her last three years were spent at the Golden Nursing Home where she made many good friends and painted many pictures that she loved to give away. Never idle, if not a paintbrush in her hand there was a book. She is survived by her children, Charlaine Hutchinson (Jim), John Gomeringer (Cathy), Nancy Gerber (Keith) and Susan Gonzales (Kirk) and many grand, great and great great grandchildren, Judy's husband Tony Clemente, and a nephew Ted. Dorothy was predeceased by her husband Warren (2014), her parents Charles and Eva Sparks Stout and her brothers, Ivan, Theodore, Elmer and Charles, Jr. Dorothy was also predeceased by her daughter, Judith Clemente and two grandsons William and Thomas Childs. She will be deeply missed forever. Our Mom was the backbone of our family. Graveside services will be held at 11:00 AM on Thursday December 31st at the Lawnside Cemetery, Woodstown. www.laughreyfuneralhome.com
