Obituary of Thomas W. Verdinelli

Thomas W. Verdinelli, age 66 of Carney's Point, NJ died Sunday January 3, 2020 at the University of Pennsylvania Hospital, Philadelphia, PA. He was born in Chester, PA and was the son of the late Louis Verdinelli and Thelma Louise Verdinelli, nee Giberson. Tom was a longtime South Jersey resident moving to Carney's Point in the 1980"s. Tom attended Paulsboro High School and served his country in the United States Air Force in communications, spending time in Turkey and Washington, DC. Following his time in the armed forces he worked for various companies in the area including VWR international. Tom was a huge Eagles and Phillies fan, loved spending time with his family and many friends and loved his Beagle Alfie. He had a great sense of humor and liked nothing more than to make his family smile. Survived by his wife of 17 years Gay Lynn Verdinelli, nee Reed, son, Anthony Verdinelli of Pilesgrove, NJ, stepsons, Joseph Michael Haigh and Jakob Matthew DelBuono, sisters, Gloria Verdinelli (Krol) of Rocky Hill, CT, Nancy Verdinelli (Timmons) of Deptford, NJ, Dorothy Verdinelli (Fitzpatrick) of Unionville, CT, and Teresa Verdinelli (Lewis) of Carney's Point, NJ Besides his parents he is predeceased by brothers, Robert Verdinelli from PA, and Guy Verdinelli from AZ, and a sister Louise Verdinelli (Chatterton) of Carney's Point, NJ.
