Obituary of Jennifer M. Ballentine

Jennifer Marie Ballentine, age 32, of Deepwater, NJ, passed away suddenly on Tuesday, August 10, 2021. Jen was born to Tammy (McAllister) and Walter Ballentine on December 30, 1988. She graduated from Pennsville Memorial High School in 2007. Jennifer was a loving mother to her beautiful daughter, Lily. She enjoyed taking Lily with her everywhere, especially the waterpark, beach and boardwalk. Jennifer was a very talented and sought-after hairdresser for many years; she had a gift and her clients loved her for it. The most important thing to know about Jen was that she loved to make others smile - whether by giving gifts, making food or creating the perfect hair color. Jen loved good food and going out to eat. She also loved a good bargain and she enjoyed sharing her finds. She liked to be surrounded by friends, dancing and listening to music - from old school country to hard rock to rap. She loved her family fiercely. Jennifer is survived by her daughter Lily Marie Niblock, her mother Tammy (McAllister) Ballentine, father Walter Ballentine, sister Megan Ballentine (Jim Edelman), brothers Walter Ballentine II and Walter Ballentine III, nephew Jimmy, paternal grandfather Carl Ballentine (Roxy Ballentine), paternal grandmother Patricia Bowman (Elbert Legg), maternal grandfather Tim McAllister, and many aunts, uncles and cousins. Jennifer leaves behind many, many friends. She is predeceased by her maternal grandmother Phyllis Marie McAllister and sadly, many close friends. Funeral services will be held 11:00 AM on Tuesday August 17th at the Laughrey Funeral Home, Pennsville where friends may call Monday evening 7:00 to 9:00 PM.
