William Carson Fortenberry I passed away at home on Saturday November 6. Born April 6, 1948 to the late Charlotte and Walter Fortenberry. William was happiest surrounded by his family and friends. He enjoyed Science Fiction and watching the Philadelphia Eagles.
Left to cherish his memory are his daughter Karen Lynn Panaro and husband Daniel of Claymont DE, daughter Kathy L Fortenberry of Pennsville, son, William C. Fortenberry II and wife Laura of Carneys Point, son, Robert S Fortenberry of Pennsville, and loved as a son, Barry Ayers of Pennsville, Grandchildren, Daniel and Matthew Panaro of Claymont DE, Hunter Ayers of Pennsville, Joseph, William III, and Cassandra Fortenberry of Penns Grove, brother Walter Fortenberry of Yorktown, Virginia, sister Beverly Flitcraft of Pennsville, mother-in-law Annalee, sister-in-law Tracy Caraballo and husband Michael, brother-in-law John DeGrotto, and brother-in-law William Nelson.
Predeceased by his beloved wife Belinda Fortenberry, brother John Fortenberry, father-in-law Joseph DeGrotto, sister-in-law Joanne Nelson, brother-in-law Ron Flitcraft and granddaughter Lindsay Ayers.
As per William's request, services will be private. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in his honor to the MS Society.
