Thelma P. Richardson, age 93 of Pennsville went home to be with the Lord on Sunday September 18, 2011 at the Memorial Hospital of Salem County. She was born in York, PA and was the daughter of the late William and Pauline Glassick. Thelma was a longtime Pennsville resident. She was a registered nurse, apprentice to Ansel Adams, longtime active member of St. Georges Episcopal Church, founding member of the Pennsville Visiting Nurses Association, Pennsville Womens Club, substitute school nurse in Pennsville, and the lamplighters Needle Point Guild. Survived by a son, William "Bill" Richardson of Pennsville, granddaughter, Julie Costello and her husband Frank of Carneys Point, grandson, Bill Richardson, II of Deepwater, great grandsons, Anthony Costello and Liam Maloney. Funeral services will be held 10:00 AM Thursday Sept. 22, at the St. Georges Episcopal Church, Pennsville. Friends may call Wednesday evening from 7:00 to 9:00 PM at the Laughrey Funeral Home, Pennsville. Burial will be at the St. Georges Cemetery. In lieu of flowers please make memorial contributions to the St. George's Episcopal Church Memorial Fund, 3 Church Landing Rd. Pennsville, NJ 08070 or the Pennsville Visiting nurses Association, 14 N. Broadway, Pennsville, NJ 08070.
