Margaret J. LaCount, age 99, of Pennsville, passed away on Saturday January 15, 2022, surrounded by family and friends. She was born on April 13, 1922. Daughter of late Katherine Miller Benson and
L. Woodland Benson of Pocomoke City, MD.
Margaret leaves behind a daughter in law Stephanee LaCount and grandchildren Ashley Serfass (Brad) and Shawn LaCount (Katie Rose.) She is predeceased by her husband Roger and her sons, Ronald and Roger.
She loved the Lord, memorizing scripture, praying for others, and spending time with her family and friends. Margaret loved the beach and was a long-time member of Park Bible Baptist Church. She made delicious fudge that she gave out everywhere she went. She looked forward with anticipation to the day she would meet her Savior.
There will be no public services.
