Lynne Drummond posted a condolence

I am truly at a loss for words. Karen and I worked together at A.I. Dupont Hospital for Children and she was such a pleasant person with such a sweet spirit. We often talked about our children and their activities. She was always very positive. She love Tom, Brittany and Austin so much! We often exchanged stories and had many times of laughter. I am so sad to just hear of Karen's homegoing but I do know that she left such a good impression on everyone she met that we will never forget her. Family stay encouraged and one day we will all see her again. Prayerful submitted with Love - Lynne

I worked with Karen at Nemours. I am very greatful to have met her. She encouraged me to become the Registered Nurse I am today. When I was in school and was having child care issues, Karen said "bring the kids to me I'll watch them." I was so humbled by the offer, it made me strive to be a better person. I was also invited to watch her daughter dance in The Nut Cracker as Karen exposed me so so many different things in life which I will be forever grateful. She was a wonderful friend. May God accept her into paradise on that day. Aameen
