Margaret Jane Whalen, Born Margaret Jane Toth on October 2, 1933 to Elizabeth and James Toth, Margaret was surrounded by her family and peacefully departed our world to be with the Lord, and her son Jimmy, on September 23, 2011. Mom will forever be remembered as a loving mother and a friend to all whose path she crossed. Margaret was preceded in death by her mother, father, sister Martha and son Jimmy. Margaret's family, celebrating her life, include sons Mike, Sean, and Mark, daughters Colleen and Mary, their father James Whalen, her spiritual daughter Gayle Tucci and a spiritual family in southern Florida that are too numerous to list. Margaret's grandchildren include; Chrissy, Bethanne, Courtney, Lindsay, Mark, Kate, Jill, Sean, Bryce, and great grandson Jackson. Margaret is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts, uncles and dear friends. Margaret was heavily involved in volunteer activities, her church and community. As we celebrate her life we all hold her close to our hearts. The family will receive friends at the Laughrey Funeral Home, 1 N. Broadway, Pennsville, NJ from 1:00 to 3:00pm on Thursday September 29, 2011 and services will follow at 3:00 PM. The family asks in lieu of flowers that memorials be made to Alpha Ministries 11655 Hwy 441 SE, Okeechobee, FL 34974.
