Obituary of Bernice T. Venters

Bernice Theresa Venters, 86, of Lindsay Place, Pennsville, NJ went home to the Lord on Friday, April 8, 2022 at her residence with her daughter by her side. She was the daughter of the late Adella Rusias Tursky and Paul Tursky. Born in Philadelphia, she was a Hallahan High girl, danced on American Bandstand, and once worked at Connie Mack Stadium. After moving to New Jersey, she worked at "The Pub" in Pensauken, NJ as a waitress for more than 20+ years. Bernice or Bunny as she was known, was an excellent cook and enjoyed hosting holiday dinners for her family. She and her late husband, Lou, enjoyed many years of boating and fishing on their boat in Cape May, NJ. Loving sister, aunt, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, and friend, she will be deeply missed. She is survived by her daughter, Vivian and husband Bill Seddon, Elsinboro, NJ, grandsons, Billy and Taylor Seddon, Quinton, NJ, Chris and Chelsea Seddon, Pennsville, NJ, 2 great grandsons, Christopher and Walker. One niece, Michelle Sanvaneschi. Predeceased by her parents, 5 siblings, her beloved husband, Louis A. Venters, and her first husband Felix G. Rivero. Funeral services will be held 11:00 AM on Wednesday, April 13, 2022 at the Laughrey Funeral Home, Pennsville, NJ where friends and family may call from 10:00 to 11:00 prior to the service.
