Samuel E. Klessel
October 31, 1919 – June 23, 2022
Sam peacefully passed away at home on Thursday, June 23, 2022 surrounded by his loving family in Pennsville, NJ.
He served in Iceland and France during World War II as an ammunition renovator for the US Army.
He was married for 70 years to Delma (Hurley). Sam retired from DuPont Carneys Point Works, Plant 1 in 1979.
Survived by his children, Ronald (Bill Seibert), Barbara Mullen (Chuck)and Elaine Adams (Fred), grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Sam was a lifelong member of the Trinity United Methodist Church in Pennsville, NJ
Sam was predeceased by a son, Sam (2007) and his wife Delma (2016).
A memorial service will be held Thursday June 30th at the Trinity United Methodist Church, 75 South Broadway where friends may call from 10:00 to 11:00 AM. Burial will be private.
In lieu of flowers please make memorial contributions to the Trinity United Methodist Church Trustee Fund, 75 South Broadway, Pennsville, NJ 08070.
