Charles Sherman Moyer of Pennsville, age 85, went home to be with the Lord on December 14, 2022. Born to Charles Moyer and Georgine (Bitler) Moyer, Sherm was the second of three children. After graduating from Muncy High School in 1955, he attended the University of Pittsburgh where he was on the wrestling team. Sherm served in the army as a paratrooper before joining the Pennsville School District where he worked for 35 years as a physical education teacher and wrestling coach. He enjoyed traveling with his family and taking care of his yard. Sherm is survived by his loving wife of 61 years Phyllis (Crawford) Moyer, daughter Robin Moyer Ratigan (John), sons Sherman Moyer (Rickie) and Rodney Moyer (Michelle), four grandchildren, and four great-grandchildren. There will be a private burial at the Veterans' Cemetary in Woodstown.
