To our great friend and neighbor - Uncle Tom - remembering fun and happy times together. You were always there to help us. (Picture of Jim & Tom at Longhorn restaurant in 2019)

Mr. Githens was a sweet man. Drove me to the church on my wedding day and to our reception 39 years ago in his Model A Ford.

The neighborhood will not be the same without him. Here is a picture of your dad and me when the PMHS band went to Florida in December 1983. He was still supporting the kids even though all of his own had graduated. Rest easy, Mr. Githens...

Thank you Mr. Githens first and foremost for being such a great friend to my Mom and Dad for 40+ years.
I have many fond memories of you. One is from about 1986, when you gave me a ride to the Band Dinner in your '57 (?) Ford Thunderbird. The car's paint exactly matched the color of the dress I was wearing to the event. I also am grateful for the many hours you spent filming the Pennsville Eagle band from 1978-1987. Those films you took captured our teenage years during a time before cell phones and video cameras. You were kind enough to give me the films so we could move those images to electronic format, and were ok for me to store them to YouTube so more people could enjoy and share them.

The picture I attached is from Larry and Janet Irelan's 50th anniversary party in September 2010. Left to right: MIriam, Tom, Marge Sampson, Verna Parker and in the back Fred Epps.
I will miss you!

I knew Tom from the time we were teen agers. We were classmates in Salem High and have been friends ever since. Tom was very talented and made some amazing things. He will be missed, God Bless, R I P.
