Terry Madas posted a condolence

My name is Terry (Lloyd) Madas. I was a music student at Pennsville Memorial High School from 1978 - 1982. I have been searching for your mother for years in hopes to reconnect. I was the piano accompanist for the high school choir during these years under the direction of Mrs Knorr. She also played the organ at my wedding at Park Bible Baptist Church in Pennsville in December 1983.
I am deeply saddened as I learned of her passing in July 2023. Please accept my sincere condolences on the passing of your beloved mother.
Mrs Knorr was such an incredible mentor - I recall sweet times in the music room as she allowed me to come to her office and have a cup of tea as we discussed music together. She would even keep the music room door unlocked for me so I could come in during my Study Hall and practice piano!
Out of all of my teachers, Nancy Knorr was the most influential in my life! I still play the piano and regularly play for my church where my husband is the Pastor. I am also the Choir Director recalling much of my training from your mom!
I read her obituary and would love to attend the Organ Concert, if I am able! Could you include me in the details?

I live in Northeast Pennsylvania - above Scranton, PA.
Thank you so much!!

Nancy and I volunteered together at the library for many years. I also played handbells under her direction. I considered her a dear friend and missed her terribly when she moved from Woodstown. I just heard about her passing today. My prayers are being lifted for her family.

I am sorry to learn of Nancy's passing. I enjoyed working with her when she was Organist/Choir Director at First Baptist Church in Woodstown. She was a great musician and will be missed by many.
