Lena Dudas Jensen, age 91 of Pennsville went home to be with her Lord and Savior on October 23, 2011 at her residence surrounded by her loving family. She was born June 24, 1920 in South Plainfield, NJ and was the daughter of German and Hungarian immigrants Louis and Freda Machold Dudas who predeceased her. In 1950 she married the love of her life, Gustav Jensen at Emmanuel Pentecostal church in Elizabeth, NJ. They raised their four children on Staten Island, NY and moved to Pennsville in 1990. A devoted homemaker, she loved to cook, sew, read, attend church, and read her Bible. She also enjoyed decorating her house, take care of her family, and lend help to her friends whenever they needed. Survived by her husband of 61 years Gustav Jensen, children, Ruthann Jensen Ericksen, Fred Jensen and his wife Naomi, Thomas Jensen and Lois Jensen, sisters, Ida Stanka, Anne Curley, and Ruth Schillinger, sisters-in-law, Esther Gondeck and Ruth Anderson, nine grandchildren and seven great grandchildren, nieces, nephews and her dog Baby. Predeceased by her siblings, Albin, John, Louis, Marie and Naomi Dudas. Funeral services will be held 10:00 AM Friday Oct. 28th at the Laughrey Funeral Home, Pennsville where friends may call Thursday evening from 7:00 to 9:00 PM. Burial will be at the Lawnside Cemetery, Woodstown, NJ.
