Joseph Mecholsky, age 69, went home to be with the Lord after an eight year battle with cancer on August 6, 2023. Joseph was a fifty year member of First Baptist Church/Bethel Bible Baptist Church. Originally from Pennsville, Joseph was involved in his children's sports as a coach for Pennsville Little League, Pennsville Babe Ruth, and Pennsville Soccer Association. He was also a member of the Pennsville School Board for a total of fifteen years.
Joseph worked for DuPont Chambers Works for 37 years with his last assignment at Freon lab.
Joseph loved to travel to Disney World with his family and spent summers at the Jersey shore.
He is survived by his wife Linda, of almost 50 years. He was the proud and loving father of Joseph (Jill) Mecholsky, Laura (Donald) Brickner and Mark (Lauren) Mecholsky. His love extended to his grandchildren who called him pop; Jackson Mecholsky, Caroline Brickner, Callie Brickner, Salvatore Mecholsky and Luca Mecholsky. He was predeceased by his parents Joseph and Elsie Mecholsky.
Services will be private at the convenience of the family.
