I met Dot 70 years ago in 1953, when I joined DuPont at the Technical Laboratory, Chambers Works, Pennsgrove, NJ. Dot was an outstanding laboratory technician. She taught me how to make laboratory dyeings of textiles and how to work in this laboratory. She was a great person who lived a great life and will be missed by her family and many friends. - John Thackrah

Mrs Horn was a kind person, and incredibly nice. But more important, she (and her late husband Leon) were stalwart members of their local church, Union Presbyterian of Carneys Point, and made it a point to support the denomination's mission offerings, which is to say they wanted the church to reach out to a larger world. And she was *very* patient in her last years with mobility issues.
Prayers for the family in their loss; blessings in their memories.

Dear Horn family, I was sadden by the passing of your loving matrisch, Mrs. Horn. I vounteered one summer at the Historical Society as the library catalger and on occasion would interact with this beautiful lady at the Pennsville Public Library where I worked. .
She always had a smile that she offered to others everytime I saw her.
May your memories of Dorothy make your own hearts smile as well.
Sincerely
Deborah Ecret
