Richard A Sayers, age 58 of Pennsville died Tuesday, February 20th, 2024, while surrounded by loved ones. He was born in Salem NJ and was the son of the late Robert and Audrey Sayers. Richard was a lifelong Salem County resident.
He was employed as a Senior Machine Operator for FMC Biopolymer, Newark DE. Where he worked for over 25 years.
Survived by his two daughters, Samantha Sayers of Pennsville NJ, and Robin Bishop (Michael) of Gibbstown NJ. Step children Josh Smith, Aaron Carfiello and Brandon Carfiello (Marissa), Living with his lifelong partner Patricia Wolfer. Brother, Robert Sayers (Lynn) as well as nieces and nephews, Angie, Corey (Kim) and Christopher Sayers, Ryan Loughlin, Brian Sayers, Brianne Loughlin, Kirstin Cermele (Anthony), and grandson Carson Myers with one on the way.
Predeceased by his parents, and brothers Roger W. Sayers and Ronald L. Sayers
Richard loved Fishing most of all, as well as watching football, playing Farkle, going on walks down at the river or Fort Mott Park, and coaching his daughters softball.
He will forever be missed for his laidback attitude and big heart.
A celebration of live will be held, 2:00 PM Sunday April 7th 2024 at the Pennsville VFW. 171 South Broadway, Pennsville, NJ 08070
