Joe C. Jones, age 81 of Pennsville died Monday February 20, 2012 at his home surrounded by family. He was born in Canton, NC and was the son of the late Frankie Mae and Roy Fletcher. He came to Salem, NJ in 1946 and was employed at the Anchor Hocking Glass as an operator/supervisor where he retired following 43 years. He had a passion for repairing lawn mowers, outboard motors and loved fishing. Survived by his wife of 62 years Nancy Gertiser Jones, daughter, Marshalee McDade and her husband Robert, sons, Danny and Bruce all of Pennsville, 3 grandchildren, Kristin Smith (Marc), Robert McDade (Amy) and Sean McDade (Kelly) and 7 great grandchildren. Funeral services will be held 11:00 AM Thursday, February 23rd at the Laughrey Funeral Home, Pennsville where friends may call from 10:00 to 11:00 AM prior to the service. Burial will follow at the Lawnside Cemetery, Woodstown. In lieu of flowers please make memorial contributions to the Memorial Home Health and Hospice, 390 N. Broadway, Pennsville, NJ 08070.
