Obituary of Ryan C. Bickhart

Ryan C. Bickhart, age 24 of Pennsville went on to be with Lord on Monday May 28, 2012 at the Christiana Care Hospital, Newark, DE. He was born on October 6, 1987 at the Christiana Hospital, Wilmington, DE and is the son of Scott and Brenda Bickhart of Pennsville, NJ. Ryan was a lifelong Pennsville resident. He was employed by Servpro of Salem County as a Production Manager and formerly at the Delaware Memorial Bridge. He was also in the process of starting his own lawn care service. Ryan graduated from Pennsville Memorial High School in 2006 where he played several sports and excelled at soccer, where he served as team captain. He earned his black belt in taekwondo, served as an Assistant Scoutmaster of Boy Scout Troop 15 of Pennsville, where he earned his Eagle rank, scouting's highest award, in 2005. He was a Member of the Trinity United Methodist Church of Pennsville. Ryan enjoyed umpiring for Pennsville Little League, Playing golf, disc golf, and snowboarding with friends. He was a passionate Philadelphia sports fan. He was an avid outdoorsman who loved hunting, fishing and hiking. He cherished his time with family, friends, and especially his son, Hunter Ryan. Even after his death, Ryan continued to give the gift of life by donating his organs. Besides his parents he is survived by his, brothers, Kyle and Dylan Bickhart, loving girlfriend Heather Nazar and their son Hunter Ryan Bickhart all of Pennsville. He is also survived by his maternal grandparents Grant and Dolly Kratzer of Selinsgrove, PA his paternal grandparents Richard and Lois Bickhart of Freeburg, PA, and many aunts, uncles and cousins, who loved him dearly. Funeral services will be held 11:30 AM Friday June 1 at the Trinity United Methodist Church, Pennsville where friends may call from 9:00 to 11:30 AM prior to the service. Burial will be private at the convenience of the family at the Lawnside Cemetery, Woodstown.
