Obituary of Laura E. Johnson

Laura Mahon Johnson, age 77 of Pennsville passed away on Friday November 30, 2912 at the Christiana Hospital. She was born in Salem, NJ and was the daughter of the late Bertram and Larenia Adams Mahon. She lived in Pennsville, NJ since 1962. She worked 8 years at Hygrade in Pennsville and was a home health aide and a homemaker. She is survived by a son William "Cotton" H. Johnson, Jr. and his wife Noreen Scuderi Johnson and a daughter Laurie Johnson Sturdivant of Honolulu, HI, 6 grandchildren, Desiree, Mika, Justin, Matt, Brandon, and Danielle, 3 great grandchildren, Taylor, Mat-Mat, Jr., and Kourtney, sister, Shirley Mahon Hannah and a brother, James B. Mahon. She was affectionately known by her grandchildren as G-Ma, G-Wizz, G-Unit, Gram, Hot Rod and may more. Predeceased by her husband William H. Johnson, sisters, Mary Mahon, Margaret Shutes, Ann Darling, Dorothy Gerlack, Bessie Welch and a brother, Frank Mahon. Funeral services will be held 11:00 Wed. Dec. 5 at the Laughrey Funeral Home Pennsville where friends may call Tuesday evening from 7:00 to 9:00 PM. Burial will be at the Eglington Cemetery, Clarksboro.
