Obituary of Martha Barillo

Martha Barillo, age 76 of Pennsville, NJ, and formerly from Elmwood Park, NJ, passed away, Monday, December 24th. She was born in Hungary. Martha was a member of St. Gabriel the Archangel Parish (member of the Rosary Society). In addition, Martha is a member of St. Stephen's R.C., Parish in Passaic, NJ. Martha was very active in the church. Martha organized and ran countless, dinners, picnics, fundraiser, talent shows and other functions over the years. Martha was also active in the PTA when her children were young. Martha is also a member of the Rosary Society and Sodality at St. Stephen's Church. Martha enjoyed cooking, gardening, sewing, but most of all her family. Martha and her husband are members of the William Penn Association. They represented their branch, and participated in its activities. They attended and supported many functions of the organization over the years. Martha is survived by her husband, Arthur Barillo, a brother, Alex Lakatos. Beloved mother of: Arthur Barillo, (Pina Sivila), Marta Barillo Smith(Gary), Monica Barillo O'Neill (Michael) and Thomas Barillo. Loving grandchildren, Samantha, Allyson, Jaysen, Caroline, Jack, Amanda, and Zachary, Niece Courtney (Joe) Hink nephew, Alex Lakatos, great niece Jaelyn. Mass of Christian burial will be held Friday Dec. 28, at the St. Gabriel the Archangel Parish, Queen of the Apostles Church, Pennsville, NJ where friends may call from 10:00 to 11:00 AM prior to the mass. Burial will follow at the St. Josephs Cemetery, Swedesboro, NJ. There will also be a viewing on Thursday from 4:00 to 7:00 PM at the Bizub-Quinlin funeral home in Clifton, NJ.
