Mary Tomlin, age, 98 of Pennsville passed away January 15th at the Southgate Nursing Home. Mary lived most of her life in Pennsville and was a devoted Sunday school teacher at the Trinity United Methodist Church for 20 years. Mary is survived by Sons Vernon Sr. (Ruth) David Sr. (Phyllis) daughter Berta Lockwood (Howard) Sister Hazel Lodge. She is also survived by 7 grandchildren, 12 great grandchildren, and 1 great-great grandaughter.
Mary was predeceased by her husband Oscar Tomlin, parents Bessie and John Collins, sisters Geniveve DeShields and Esther Hurley, 2 great grandchildren Wendy and Drew. Funeral services will be held 11:00 AM Saturday January 19th at the Laughrey Funeral Home, Pennsville where friends may call from 10:00 to 11:00 AM prior to the service. Burial will follow at the Lawnside Cemetery in Woodstown.
