Obituary of Nicole Leigh Halstead

Nicole Leigh Halstead, Pennsville born August 17, 1992 left our world Thursday April 12, 2013. She is the daughter of John Halstead, Sr. and Robin Halstead. Nicole graduated from Pennsville Memorial High School class of 2010, and Salem Community College in 2012. She was currently a Junior at Rowan University, studying English. Nicole enjoyed her work at the Front Desk of Holiday Inn Express, Carneys Point and Rowan University's College of Humanities and Social Sciences Deans office. She loved college life, enjoyed her classes and formed a special bond with several of her professors. Nicole was an animal lover and felt a strong need to protect any underdog. She loved to spend time on the family boat on the Chesapeake Bay. Nicole touched many lives, leaving a deep and lasting impression on those around her. Survived by her two sisters, Alexandria Halstead and Stephanie Bradway and her husband Tim (LAC), brother Jay Halstead (Pennsville) and his wife Tammy. Nieces, Caitlin Bradway and Cassandra Halstead, nephew, Nicholas Bradway. Grandparents, William (Teenie) & Shirley Humphreys (Pennsville), Erma Foster (Big Pine Key, FL) and Eleanor Halstead (Broomall, PA). Aunts & Uncles, Bill & Maggie Humphreys, David Halstead, Donna Halstead and Mark & Betty Halstead and her best friend Rhea Fernandez and her family, who Nicole considered to be her second family. She was predeceased by her grandfather Robert Halstead. Funeral services will be held 11:00 AM on Thursday April 18, at the Laughrey Funeral Home, Pennsville where friends may call Wednesday evening from 7:00 to 9:00 PM.
