Lester F. Hilyard, Jr. age 93 of Pennsville went home to be with the Lord on Monday, November 18, 2013 at home surrounded by his loving family. He was born in Vineland and was the son of the late Lester F. Sr. and Edna Meyer Hilyard. Lester was a longtime Salem County resident.
He was employed as an insurance agent for the Prudential Insurance Company in Salem where he retired in 1975. He was an Army Air Corps Veteran of WWII serving in the European Theater.
He is survived by his loving wife of 67 years, Margaret Mahoney Hilyard, daughters, Peggy MacArthur (Richard), Diana Campbell (Soupy), and Mary Adams, 5 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren.
