Lois Nixon Gray, age 74, of Carney's Point died Wednesday, February 26, 2014 at her residence surrounded by her family. She was born in Penns Grove and is the daughter of the late LeRoy and Elma Elizabeth Burris Nixon. Lois was a longtime Salem County resident.
She was employed by the DuPont Company before she began her family. She worked for Wilmington Trust for over 30 years where her precision and attention to detail were greatly valued.
She is survived by her children, Sherri P. Mitchell (R. David) of New London, PA and Glenn L. Peachey (Aniko) with whom she lived, 5 grandchildren, 1 great grandson.
Predeceased by her husband George A. Gray, and her son, Bruce H. Peachey, Jr.
Graveside services will be held 11:00 AM Saturday, March 1, at the Lawnside Cemetery, Woodstown.
In lieu of flowers the family suggests memorial contributions to the Alzheimer's Foundation of America.
