William M. Coffey, Jr., age 90 of Pennsville died Thursday June 19, 2014 at the Memorial Hospital of Salem County. He was born in Penns Grove and was the son of late William Michael Coffey, Sr. and Anna Friant Coffey. Bill was a lifelong Salem county resident. He owned and operated Coffey's Auto Repair on Virginia Ave. in Penns Grove since 1945. Bill was a WWII Army Veteran and was a cryptographer under the direction of General Eisenhower, longtime member of the Queen of the Apostles Church, Pennsville and the Nights of Columbus in Penns Grove. Survived by his son, Shaun Patrick Coffey and his wife Cindy, and a granddaughter Alyssa Marie Coffey of Pennsville. Predeceased by his wife Eleanor Farro Coffey (1997) Louis and Walter Coffey, sisters, Pearl Cooker, and Ethel Coffey. Graveside services will be held 12:00 Noon Tuesday June 24, at the Gracelawn Memorial Park, New Castle, DE. www.laughreyfuneralhome.com
