Bernice C. Moffett, age 90 of Pennsville died Sunday January 23, 2011 at the Southgate Health Care Center, Carney's Point. She was born in Philadelphia, daughter of the late George S. and Annie Pue Cramp. Bernice was a longtime Pennsville resident. She was a member of the Trinity United Methodist Church of Pennsville and the Pennsville Womens Club. Survived by her three daughters, Patricia Ann Poate of Glenside PA, Donna N. McVey (Allan) of Pennsville and Stephanie Bakos (Robert) of Bridgewater, NJ, grandchildren, Scott McVey and Heidi Poate Predeceased by her husband Robert K. Moffett (1990) and a sister Jane Kehnast, grandchildren Herbert Poate, Heather Poate, son-in-law Herbert Poate. Funeral services will be held 11:00 AM Thursday Jan. 27th at the Laughrey Funeral Home, Pennsville where friends may call from 10:00 to 11:00 AM prior to the service. Burial will follow at the Salem County Veterans Cemetery, Pilesgrove. In lieu of flowers please make memorial contributions to the Pennsville Visiting Association, 14 North Broadway, Pennsville, NJ 08070 or the Pennsville Public Library, 190 S. Broadway, Pennsville, NJ 08070.
