Elizabeth T. Klessel, age 87 of Pennsville died Thursday December 25, 2014 at the Seasons Hospice, Newark DE. She was born in Salem and was the daughter of the late William and Pauline Hall Thomas. Elizabeth was a lifelong Salem County resident. Survived by her children, Edward C. Klessel, Jr., Carol, David W. Klessel and his wife Carol, Richard W. Klessel, Gary C. Klessel of Pennsville and Peggy J. Barnaba and her husband Bruce of Selbyville, DE, sister Louise Kacewich of Salem, Vivian Freas of Jacksonville, Fl, and Betty Ann Luff of Sunset Ceach, NC, grandchildren, Stefanie Anne Klessel, Judith Anne Flitcraft, and Richard W. Klessel, Jr., of Pennsville, great grandchildren, Madison Anne Flitcraft, Gabriel Ronald Flitcraft and Grace Elizabeth Klessel of Pennsville. Predeceased by her husband Edward C. Klessel Sr. (2002), brother, William P. Thomas. Funeral services will be held 11:00 AM on Tuesday Dec. 30, at the Laughrey Funeral Home, Pennsville where friends may call from 10:00 to 11:00 AM prior to the service. Burial will follow at the Salem County Veterans Cemetery, Pilesgrove. In lieu of flowers please make memorial contributions to the Salem County Humane Society, 214 N.
