Sally Wood Ahlquist, age 82 of Quinton, NJ died Friday January 9, 2015 at the Inspira Medical Center, Woodbury. She was born in Carneys Point and was the daughter of the late Frank and Sadie Bymaster Wood. Sally was a lifelong Salem County resident.
She graduated from Penns Grove Regional High School in 1949 and was a resident of Quinton from 1949. She was employed by the Pennsville National Bank as Assistant Cashier and Head o the Loan Department until her retirement in 1990.
Survived by a sister, Carolyn W. Ryan, nephew, Larry R. Ryan, III, nieces, Nancy Ryan Bell and Catherine Ryan McCormack, eight grand-nieces and nephews and 7 great-grand nieces and nephews.
Predeceased by her husband Russell H. Ahlquist (2012) of Quinton.
Funeral services will be held 11:00 AM on Thursday January 15, at the Laughrey Funeral Home, Pennsville where friends may call from 10:00 to 11:00 AM prior to the service. Burial will follow at the Lawnside Cemetery, Woodstown.
