Gwendolyn May Mattson Delaney, 88 of Pennsville, NJ passed away December 8, 2014 at Friends Village Assisted Living Facility in Woodstown, NJ after a long battle with Alzheimer's. She was born in Swedesboro and was the daughter of the late Joseph and Helen Homan Mattson.
She is predeceased by her husband Francis J. Delaney and survived by many nieces, nephews and great nieces and nephews. "Gwen" retired from DuPont in 1984 after 40 years of service. She enjoyed gardening, bird watching and babysitting. Gwen was also an active member of St George's Episcopal Church in Pennsville, NJ.
Memorial Services will be held at 11:00 AM on Friday January 16, at the St. George's Episcopal Church, Pennsville. Burial of cremains will follow at the Church Cemetery.
