Obituary of Evelyn Mae Rue

Evelyn Mae Rue, nee Wood, age 84 of Florida passed away peacefully on August 10, 2016 with her loving family by her side. She was the daughter of the late Earl and Sudie Wood. She is survived by her four Wood Brothers, Floyd, Andy, Jake and Paul, sisters, Beatrice Thomas and Betty Jordan. She is predeceased by her husband, Edward Rue, her son, Jacob John Rue, a step daughter Patricia Rue Fithian and a sister Doris Owens. Evelyn and her husband enjoyed several years as owners of the Frontier Playhouse in Salem. After retiring to Florida, she enjoyed making crafts, going to yard sales and harvesting her fruit and pecan trees. .Her greatest enjoyment in life was spending time with her many nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held 10:30 AM Wednesday at the Laughrey Funeral Home, Pennsville where friends may call from 10:00 to 10:30 prior to the service.
