Please share a memory of Edward to include in a keepsake book for family and friends.
Edward Joseph Pflieger 'Bud' born 6/21/1944 passed away at Cadia Pike Creek 10/17/2016 after a long illness. He was born in Salem and was the son of the late Mary Madeline (Hussla) (2001) and Glendon Charles Pflieger (1965)
Disabled/Retired Union Painter Local 1331 Vineland NJ. Bud worked in the Philadelphia shipyards and many other locations.
Served his country in the US Army in 1967 & 1968; Vietnam Vet.
Bud liked to fish. He couldn't wait until fishing opened and hated when the session closed. He fished until his health got in his way.
Bud liked to gamble at the various casinos, like scratch off tickets, bingo and Lottery tickets. He loved going to Delaware Park with his friend Ed Deggin and Ed's daughter Holly.
Bud would always help out anyone less fortunate and in need. He provided them with rides to doctor appointments, to the food banks, etc. He would put over 3000 miles on his vehicles in a month until his health started failing. When asked how he put that amount of miles on his car he would tell you he didn't know because he didn't go anywhere.
Survived by his sister M Virginia Rollo 'Ginny' and companion Jim Carlisle New Castle De and nephew Glendon Charles Rollo and his wife Christi Casper and great nephew Aidan Rollo and great niece Kyla Rollo of Pennsville, NJ. Also survived by his brother Joseph Paul Pflieger 'Joe' Orlando Florida and niece LaraBeth Pflieger and companion Jordan of Orlando FL and Niece JennaLyn Pflieger-Haskell and husband Chris of Somerville, Boston.
