Anna F. Yount, age 91 of Pennsville died Thursday January 12, 2017 at the Memorial Hospital of Salem County. Born in Shiloh, NJ on December 14, 1925 she was the daughter of the late James E. Fithian and Nettie L. Lamblack. Anna was a long time Salem County resident.
She was a homemaker. She graduated from Salem High School in 1945 and was a member of the Salem Baptist Church and Daughters of America.
Survived by children, Carol A. Grogan and her husband David of Reidsville, NC, Kathy Perry and Mark Cifuni of Bellmawr, NJ, Susan M. Whitzell and her husband Doug of Pennsville, grandchildren, Sandra Welch, Jennifer Isley, Scott Carrigan, Dawn Carrigan, Sean Perry, Christopher Whitzell, and SaraAnn Whitzell, and 4 great grandchildren, 1 great-great grandchild.
Predeceased by her husband of 62 years John W. Yount in October, 2008. Sister Dorothy M. Carlson and brother James E. Fithian II.
Funeral services will be held 11:00 AM Mon. January 16th, at the Laughrey Funeral Home, Pennsville, where friends may call from 10:00 to 11:00 AM prior to the service. Burial will follow at the Eglington Cemetery, Clarksboro. www.laughreyfuneralhome.com
