Sharon Arlene Samuels, age 75 of Pennsville died Thursday May 18, at her home. She was born November 22, 1941 in Grand Rapids, MN and was the daughter of the late James Rich and Hattie Mae Hillgoss Rich. She came to visit family in the sixties and met her future husband James Samuels who predeceased her in 2007. Sharon was often seen around Pennsville in the diners and local stores. She love her hometown and socializing and was known by many in Pennsville. Sharon loved decorating her home and had a fondness for children. She loved buying gifts and being a supportive family member. Survived by her son David Samuels and stepson, Gordon Samuels. She will be missed by many. Besides her husband, James she was predeceased by sisters, Myrna and Janice. Funeral services will be 12:00 PM Thursday June 22, at the Laughrey Funeral Home, Pennsville where friends may call from 11:00 to 12:00 PM prior to the service. Burial of cremains will follow at the Salem County Veterans Cemetery, Pilesgrove. www.laughreyfuneralhome.com
