Irene B. Sherman, 78, of Pennsville, New Jersey, passed away on June 25, 2017 in Salem Hospital.
Irene was born in Chester, PA to Helen and Joseph Swider on January, 17, 1939. She went to Salem High School and graduated in 1956. She went on to earn a degree from Goldey-Beacom College. Irene worked at DuPont as a secretary for 17 years, and worked as a legal secretary for Masten and Ray, Attorneys at Law for 30 years.
Irene is survived by her husband of 58 years, Russell Sherman, of Pennsville. She is also survived by her daughter Deborah, sister Jane, brother-in-law Lee, daughter-in-law Holly, grandchildren Brianna, Brandon, Hayden, Khali, and nephew Christopher. She is preceded in death by her parents Helen and Joseph Swider, her brother Joseph, and her son Edward.
Graveside service will be held at St. Joseph's Cemetery at 339 Swedesboro-Paulsboro Road, Woolwich Township, New Jersey 08085 on Friday, June 30th at 12:00 pm, with Father Robert officiating. www.laughreyfuneralhome.com
