Obituary of Martin G. Russell

Martin G. Russell, age 95 of Pennsville died Thursday, September 28, 2017 at the Memorial Hospital of Salem County. He was born in Newark Valley, NY on January 22, 1922 and was the son of the late Harry Earnest Russell and Hattie May Roselle Russell. Martin was a longtime Pennsville resident.
He was an army veteran of WWII serving in the Airborne Division from Oct. 9, 1942 to Nov. 11, 1945. He worked as an electrician and retired in 1984.
Survived by his wife of 57 years Eleanore Robinson Russell of Pennsville and a daughter, Susan R. Swann and her husband Kevin of Virginia Beach, VA, twin grandsons, Nathanael and Corey Swann and granddaughter, Ashlyn Swann.
Funeral services will be private at the request of the family.
