Michael Scott Staring, age 49 of Wilmington, DE and formerly of Pennsville died Monday May 21, 2018 at his residence. He was born in Hartford, CT and is the son of Kenneth H. Staring, Jr. and Linda G. (Gillespie) Staring of Pennsville, NJ.
He was currently employed as manager at Arby's in Claymont, DE. He and his ex-wife Donna were previous owners of Bernie's Tavern and Let Us Feed You in Wilmington, DE and the Star Café in Newark, DE.
Besides his parents he is survived by a son, Michael Jr, his wife Alexa and his daughters Stevie and Cameron of Cecilton, MD. Michael Jr also has daughter Everly Noel from a previous marriage that lives in Bear, DE.
Michael Sr is survived by his brother Ronald Staring, his wife Sherri, son Drew and daughter Marissa of Pennsville, NJ.

A Memorial Service will be held at 10:AM Saturday June 2 at the Trinity United Methodist Church, Broadway and Church Street in Pennsville, NJ.08070. A Celebration of Life will be held following the service from 12:00 to 3:00PM Saturday June 2 at VFW Post #475, 100 Veteran's Drive, in Newark DE, 19911. Directions will be provided after the Memorial service. Burial will be private. www.laughreyfuneralhome.com
