Obituary of Edwin D. Brown

Edwin D. "Dave" Brown, age 84 of Pennsville died Saturday July 7, 2018 at the Christiana Hospital, Newark, DE. He was born in Salem and was the son of the late George and Cecilia H. Coady Brown. Dave was a lifelong Salem Count resident. He was employed as an operator for the former Anchor Hocking Glass Company, Salem where he retired following over 48 years. Survived by his wife of over 50 year, Nancy M. Thomas Brown, son, David Brown and his fiancée Maria of Myrtle Beach, SC, step children, Bonnie Hunnings and her husband David, Kathy Venuto and her husband Sam of Pennsville and Robert Taylor and his wife Debbie of Delaware, granddaughters, Lynn Brennan and her husband CJ, Gwen Venuto-Heck and her husband Chris, grandsons, Jeff Venuto, Robert Taylor and his wife Becca, Greg Taylor and his wife Cathy, Chris Taylor and Tim Taylor and his fiancée Mary, great grandsons, Justin Venuto, Brad Heck and Dylan Taylor, great granddaughters, Taylor Brennan, Victoria and Veronica Venuto, and Addyson Heck. Predeceased by his brothers, George J. Brown, Thomas J. Brown and Edwin Brown, sister, Florence E. Scott. Funeral services will be held 11:00 AM Wednesday July 11, at the Laughrey Funeral Home, Pennsville where friends may call from 10:00 to 11:00 AM prior to the service. Burial will follow at the Eglington Cemetery, Clarksboro, NJ.
