Obituary of William T. Collins, Sr.

William T. "Bill" Collins, Sr. age 80 of Pennsville passed away on Friday July 27, 2018 at his residence. He was born in Upper Darby, PA and was the son of the late Al and Naomi Force. Bill was longtime Pennsville resident. He was a graduate of Salem High School and received his bachelors degree from Trenton State. He was employed as a Human Recourses Manager for the DuPont Chambers Works, Deepwater where he retired 1991 following 36 years service. He was a Master Mason for the Cedarville Lodge. He was also a Korean War Army Veteran. He was a longtime member of the Park Bible Baptist Church, Pennsville Survived by his children, Lori A. Lackey and her husband Mark of Pennsville and William T. "Bill" Collins, Jr. and his wife Maureen "Moe" of West Deptford, NJ, brother, Edward Beardsworth of Newport, NJ, sisters, Edith Minch of Pennsville, Pam Force of Newport, NJ, grandchildren, Christina, Kate and Jacob Lackey and Ashley and Austin Collins, step grandchildren, Jason and Carly Campbell, half brother, Thomas Collins. Predeceased by his wife of 50 years Kay A. Collins (2015), sister, Helen Collins. Funeral services will be held 11:00 AM Monday, August 6, at the Laughrey Funeral Home, Pennsville where friends may call 10:00 to 11:00 AM prior to the service. Burial will follow at the Salem County Veterans Cemetery, Pilesgrove, NJ.
