My deepest condolences to the Family of. Ms Ruth Brown. My greatest memory of Ms Brown was her playing the piano and always had a welcoming spirit. Ms Brown was truly anointed to play. The first time I heard her playing was in the Towers where she resided. I heard this anointed music playing and began to follow the music. I stood there and listened until she was finish. We had Church and it was beautiful. Ms Brown said honey what wound you like to hear. I ask if she could play Just A Closer Walk With Jesus. Ms Ruth played the song and than shared with me how she began playing. What an incredible story. I will miss her pleasant attitude whenever she saw me. Ms Brown would always ask, honey are you ok. Ms Ruth did not say much but I had the most upright respect for this woman of God. Straight to the point, said what she meant and meant what she said. Gone but will never be forgotten. One of Salem Legency will be greatly missed.

How much fun we all had when the kids were young. When Aunt Ruth visited it was always the best time.

Aunt Ruth was invaluable to our family in the early 90's when my Mother lived with us. She came to stay for a few months during a grave illness. Aunt Ruth's experience as a home health care aid was helpful but the real blessing is that the two were as close as sisters. Mom's constitution seemed much improved by Ruth's company to our great relief! She was the last of her generation and will certainly be missed. May she rest in peace.

I knew Ruth from my time at Pennsville Towers and will always remember how much we loved her playing hymns for us. It was amazing that she never used a piece of sheet music! We could ask for any of the old hymns and she could play it! Just amazing! I know she will be missed by all the PVT people who loved to gather in the Community room to hear her play the organ and sing. She and I discussed Heaven many times and I have no doubt that she has a special place in Heaven’s music dept, playing and singing with the Angels. Enjoy eternity Ms Ruth! See you again one day. Love, comfort and hugs to her family and friends.
